Just reached 2nd trimester

I'm so happy to say that I am currently in my 2nd trimester. Now hopefully I can stop throwing up and I can gain some energy!

Amity, Megan, and Michelle---how are you guys feeling? Amity and Megan, do you vomit on a daily basis like me or am I just extra special? I've only gained one pound so far but I think that's because I can't keep food down.

I had a terrible weekend with acid reflux bothering me too. I had it before the pregnancy so now it's just 10x's worse. I didn't go out of the house until Sunday at 5:30. LOL. At least I got some much needed house work done.

Seriously??? I feel like you two just got pregnant yesterday.

I am hoping for some relief for you! I am also glad you got some house work done, and congrats on making it to the second trimester.

Congrats on second trimester.  Not to be a debbie downer but I still felt kind of crappy my first few weeks of my second trimester.  Hopefully you start feeling better more quickly, especially with the getting sick part.  It's so exciting to be 1/3 of the way done!!! 

I'm doing pretty great.  Just the aches and pains of getting bigger. I know it's only going to get worse as I get bigger.  I saw my stomach move on the outside for the first time this past weekend.  It was just a tiny bump from Lily kicking, but it was awesome.  DH is feeling her a lot more too!  I just hit 24 weeks yesterday.  Only 16 more weeks to go.  Yes, I am freaking out just a little at the thought.  It feels like getting half way takes forever and then suddenly it's going crazy fast.

I thought second trimester didn't start until 13wks and 3days? I am happy to report that I have only thrown up once and I think it was caused by gagging while brushing my teeth lol. I'm so happy this baby is being so good to me! I have a Dr apt on Wed and then its going to become entire family and facebook official. Kinda scary!

Amity - I think it depends on what you read.  Some sources say 12 weeks, other sources say 13 weeks and 3 days, and my doctor went with 14 weeks.  Personally I liked thinking it was 12 weeks.

Congrats on reaching the 2nd trimester! You said you were going to tell everyone at 2nd tri right? Can't wait to see what you come up with! Wow, your guys' pregnancies are going so fast. I'm so happy for all of you! So 12ish weeks means 4-6 weeks until gender reveal!! Can't wait!

I wish I had my gender reveal in 4 weeks. I have to wait until I am 20 weeks, so that's another 8 weeks.

I'm going to tell everyone on Facebook soon. DH and I are going to stand or sit by Christmas stockings hung by our fireplace. One will say Dennis, one will say Tara, and then we will have a little stocking that will say "Baby". And then I will write "Coming soon June 1, 2012"

People on Fertility Friend say it's 12 weeks and also my email from the Bump said I could check 1st trimester off my list. But I have heard that 13 weeks is accurate too.

I think it depends if you count the length of the pregnancy as 36 weeks or 40 weeks. 36 weeks is technically full term, but it can go a lot longer.

What a cute Idea with the stockings! It is also a great thing for the baby when they are older!

Tomorrow I will be hitting the 8 week mark. Only 9 more days til our first ultrasound!!!! It is on the 29th, which is our 10 month anniversary. Time is going by SO FAST! I have not had any morning sickness at all. I do have constant gas. I am going to ask my docotor about it next week and ask what I can take to help with it, if anything. I've read it could also be my prenatal vitamins causing the gas. I have not gained any weight yet, but my MIL says I lok like I am getting bigger already. Tara I LOVE your reveal for facebook!

I may have just assumed the way she is going to announce to her family is how she will post it on facebook. It was the 3 stockings, 2 with their names, and 1 with baby arriving June 2012.

Nope you didn't miss this. I just bought the stockings and the glitter tonight so depeding on DH's work schedule we will take the picture sometime today. I will get the cards done on Friday and then I will mail them out by Monday and do the Facebook post later in the week. I want my family (cousins, aunts, uncles) to know when they get their card in the mail, not by seeing it on Facebook.
